Srijit Awasthi/Pilibhit: In North Indian homes, pulses are usually included in one meal a day. There are many people who are fond of eating pickles with lentils. Especially children eat pulses, rice and pickles with great enthusiasm. But consuming pickles with some pulses can be quite fatal. Due to this, along with acidity, serious problems like ulcers can also occur.
Pulses have a special place in the Indian food style. According to experts, protein is also found in abundance in pulses. In such a situation, people definitely use different types of pulses. If we talk about Arhar dal, then this dal is rich in nutrients and is also the favorite of most of the people. At the same time, people also consume pickle or any kind of sourness along with pulses with great enthusiasm. But very few people know that along with pigeon pea, there are many pulses with which consumption of sour or pickle proves to be very harmful for health.
Pickles can be harmful to health
Famous Ayurvedacharya of Pilibhit, Dr. Aditya Pandey told that people make many mistakes in their daily diet which become a problem for their health. Same is the case with consuming pickles with pulses. Actually, pigeon pea, urad, chickpea and kidney bean are not easy to digest. In this case, they have naturally acidic properties. In such a situation, consumption of pickles or sour food leads to excess acid in the body. This directly becomes the cause of hyperacidity.
Symptoms of Hyper Acidity
Dr. Aditya Pandey told that there are many reasons for hyperacidity i.e. excess production of bile like spicy food, excessive use of hot spices, fast food with more oil, drinking less water etc. Symptoms of hyperacidity include heart and chest burn, sour belching, nausea, throat burning, vomiting, stomach gas, stomach pain, chest pain, headache, bad breath.
