Jaipur . Gurukul University’s fraud may have been busted in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, but the bill of this private university got stuck after the matter was opened. But the Rajasthan government has been sitting on the reports of fraud of four private universities since the year 2018 and till now the Gehlot government has not taken any action. Even though the investigation report against these four private universities had come during the previous Vasundhara government. During this, the Higher Education Department had also sent a letter to the former Chief Minister regarding irregularities prevailing in private universities.
special news dot com I have a copy of this letter and this letter is from the year 2018. It has been told in this letter that 9 private universities have been investigated under Section 41 of their Act. Out of these, 2 out of the test reports of 6 have found common deficiencies. which are directed to be removed. While serious irregularities have been found in four universities.
1. Bhagwant University, Ajmer Serious irregularities of academic nature have been found in this University. For example, there is irregularity in admission, lack of qualified and adequate faculty, lack of resources etc., which is a situation of mismanagement and maladministration.
2. OPJS University, Churu – Serious irregularities of academic nature have been found in this University. Such as irregularities in admission, lack of qualified and adequate faculty, lack of resources, university employees getting caught issuing fake degrees, etc., which comes under the category of mismanagement and maladministration.
3. Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewal University, Chudela, Jhunjhunu Serious irregularities have been found in research work in this university, which is a clear violation of the UGC regulations regarding PhD.
4. Sridhar University, Bigodna Jhunjhunu – Fake degrees of this university have been found to be in the market. Which is also accepted by the university. The university has been informed about writing a letter to the police for registering an AIR in the year 2014, but no effective action has been taken by the university, nor has the state government been informed at that time, which is a sign of complicity.
Such a letter was sent to the office of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. But till date no action has been taken. At the same time, the present Gehlot government has not yet formed any authority or regulatory commission to check the arbitrariness of private universities.
