This is the second Challengers doubles trophy of the year for Arjun Kadhe while Erler has won the Challengers title for the first time. Although Kadhe and Erler were playing together for the first time, their performance did not matter and the pair played a great game and captured the title.
Earlier, top-order Kadhe-Erler had registered a 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 win against the all-India pair of N Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan in the semi-finals.
Top seed Aleksandr Vucic defeated Croatia’s Borna Gozo 7-6(5), 6-3 in the singles semi-final of the Bengaluru Open 2 ATP Challenger tennis tournament. The Australian will take on Bulgaria’s Dimitar Kuzmanov in the final, who defeated third seed Frenchman Enzo Koukad 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
