Saket and Ramkumar beat compatriots Yuki Bhambri and Divij Sharan in straight sets in the pre-quarterfinals. Saket and Ramkumar, who won the Bengaluru Open One doubles title last week, beat Yuki and Divij 6-1, 7-5.
Wild card holders Prajwal Dev and Nikki Poonacha defeated better-ranked Canadian Steven Diaz and Japan’s Ryo Noguchi 6-2, 6-4. Arjun Khade and Alexander Erler of Austria defeated Bogdan Bobrov of Russia and Dominic Palan of Czech Republic 6-0, 6-3.
In men’s singles, top seed Alexander Vukic and sixth seed Max Purcell advanced to the quarterfinals.
