Patna. There is a wave of resignations in Rashtriya Janata Dal. In this sequence, another strong RJD leader and RJD national vice president Devendra Prasad Yadav has resigned from the party. Devendra Yadav has cited his neglect in the party as the reason for resigning from the primary membership of RJD and membership of the Central Parliamentary Board. Let us tell you that during a conversation with News 18 two days ago, Devendra Yadav had talked about his soon resignation.
Devendra Prasad Yadav resigned and said that he no longer agreed with RJD’s policy. In RJD, policy is being run only for the sake of rule, whereas harmony between rule and policy is necessary. Politics without principle means body without soul. He further wrote that my conscience is saying that I should not stay in RJD even for a moment. Let us tell you that Devendra Yadav had alleged irregularities in ticket distribution in the Lok Sabha elections. He had also expressed his displeasure over Pappu Yadav not getting the Grand Alliance ticket in Purnia.
Let us tell you that one after the other big leaders are resigning from RJD. In this sequence, on April 13, senior leaders of RJD Vrushin Patel had resigned. While resigning, Vrushin Patel had made many serious allegations against RJD. He wrote in his resignation letter, there is no need for workers dedicated to RJD. RJD has no faith in social justice and communal harmony. With a heavy heart I am resigning from the primary membership of RJD.
Let us tell you that Vrushin Patel has been one of the senior politicians of Bihar and is counted among the prominent leaders of Kurmi caste. He has been a minister in the Bihar government and has also been an MP in the past. It should also be mentioned here that before Vrushin Patel, former Rajya Sabha MP Ashfaq Karim had resigned from the party. Ashfaq Karim has joined JDU.
