New Delhi. The Modi government is constantly trying to solve the Agniveer issue. Amit Shah’s Home Ministry has now made a fresh announcement about the angry students and youth on this issue. The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced a number of exemptions for the army personnel who become Agniveer to be taken in the Central Security Forces and Assam Rifles. It has been told by the Ministry of Home Affairs that 10 percent space will be reserved for Agniveers in Central Forces and Assam Rifles. Apart from this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has talked about giving age relaxation of 3 years to Agniveer jawans who retire after 4 years of service in the army.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has tweeted that the soldiers of the first batch of Agniveers joining the Army will also be given an age relaxation of 5 years to be taken into the Central Forces and Assam Rifles. Let us inform that UP, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh have also talked about taking Agniveers in their police and other government services. The Finance Ministry officials also held a meeting two days ago to decide the rules for taking these Agniveers to banks and other financial establishments. The youth are very angry since the scheme was introduced on the issue of Agniveer Seva. Youth have also committed violence in many states including Bihar.
The MHA also decides to give 3 years age relaxation beyond the prescribed upper age limit to Agniveers for recruitment in CAPFs & Assam Rifles. Further, for the first batch of Agniveer, the age relaxation will be for 5 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit.

Under the Agniveer scheme, youth are to be taken in all the three wings of the army. His job will be for 4 years. Out of this 9 months training will be given. After 4 years, 25% of the Agniveers will be kept for further service in the army. The plan is to retire the rest by paying about Rs 12 lakh. Under the scheme, Agniveer will get free accommodation and food as per the rest of the army personnel. In case of martyrdom for the country, his family members will be given insurance amount of Rs 48 lakh apart from the salary and other benefits during the remaining service.
