New Delhi. Terror leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was finally killed in a US drone strike. Earlier in 2011, Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qaeda, was also killed in an attack by US Navy SEALs. The world has been protected to some extent by the death of these two masters of terror, but from the point of view of India, a big question has also arisen from the death of bin Laden and Zawahiri. The question is whether under any conspiracy the masters of terror are being openly sheltered and given shelter in neighboring countries? The reason for this question to arise is the circumstances which bin Laden and Zawahiri took advantage of. So let’s investigate about this.
Let’s talk about Zawahiri first. After bin Laden’s death, Ayman al-Zawahiri became the head of al-Qaeda. He used to spit fire against all the countries including America and India through his audio and video messages. Zawahiri is finally killed, but where? This needs to be looked into. He was killed in Kabul. Kabul, which is the capital of Afghanistan. According to US officials, Zawahiri was living in a house in Sherpur area of Kabul. How he was protected, it is known from this that every morning he used to openly walk in the balcony of this house. Whereas, America had announced a reward of millions of dollars on him.
Now let’s talk about bin Laden. Bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Near the house where bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, there is a large Pakistani army camp. The then government and army of Pakistan had said at that time that they had no information about bin Laden hiding there. Then how did bin Laden come to Abbottabad, under whose protection he got the house and how was he saved from the eyes of the Pakistani army even after being camped? All these questions arose, but Pakistan shrugged off all the questions. Now the killing of Zawahiri in a very safe area like Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, definitely raises the suspicion that under some conspiracy India’s neighboring Islamic countries are giving shelter to so many dreaded terrorists.
If we talk about Pakistan, then everyone knows how it runs terrorist activities in India. Everyone has seen the bloodshed in the Kashmir Valley. Pakistan’s hand in the 1993 and 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai has been exposed. Pakistan is giving shelter to Dawood Ibrahim in Karachi. It has also openly sheltered Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar and Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Maulana Hafiz Saeed, who were rescued from the hijacked Indian plane, but bin Laden and Zawahiri’s Pakistan-Afghanistan connection to India’s intelligence. And it is certainly a matter of greater concern for the security agencies.
