New Delhi. At the end of every month, automakers present their sales figures. The figures for the month of July have also been released. According to statistics, Maruti Suzuki has sold the maximum number of cars in India. The total sales of Maruti Suzuki India Limited increased by 8.28% to 1,75,916 units in July, 2022. During the same month of last year, the company had sold a total of 1,62,462 vehicles. Maruti’s domestic market sales last month increased by 6.82 per cent to 1,42,850 units. In the month of July, 2021, the company sold 1,33,732 passenger vehicles in the domestic market.
Mahindra’s domestic passenger vehicle sales
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd said on Monday that its total domestic passenger vehicle sales grew 33 per cent year-on-year to 28,053 units in July. M&M said the company had sold 21,046 units in the same month a year ago. Domestic utility vehicle sales rose 34% to 27,854 units during the period under review as against 20,797 units in the same month a year ago.
Hyundai sales up 6 percent in July
Hyundai Motor India Limited’s total sales grew by 6% to 63,851 units in the month of July, 2022. HMIL said it had sold 60,249 units in July, 2021. The company’s domestic vehicle sales in July this year increased by 5.1% to 50,500 units as against 48,042 units sold in the same month a year ago.
Tata Motors sold a total of 81,790 units in July
Tata Motors’ total sales grew 51.12% year-on-year to 81,790 units in July, 2022. The company said in a statement that sales have increased due to strong demand for passenger vehicles. Tata Motors sold a total of 54,119 units in the domestic and international markets in July 2021. The company’s total domestic sales increased by 52% to 78,978 units last month, the statement said. The company had sold 51,981 units in July, 2021.
