Renault and Tata are gearing up to excite the Indian automotive industry. While Tata Motors is ready to launch its Sierra in the market, Renault is preparing to introduce its new generation Duster. Let’s see what’s new in these models.

Renault’s popular Duster is set to enter the market with its third generation model in the next few years. Recently unveiled in Europe, the SUV features a facelifted look, impressive interiors and a new engine system. It is built on the new CMF-B platform and measures 4.34 meters in length, with more aggressive design elements. A 7-seater variant of the new Duster will also be seen in the market.
The interior of the new Duster exemplifies Renault’s commitment to a superior driving experience. It is equipped with features like 6 speakers, automatic climate control, wireless charging, wireless smartphone connectivity, 6 airbags and ADAS technology in a comprehensive safety suite. The global model of the Duster will offer three engine options, which include a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol hybrid, 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol and 1.0-litre petrol-CNG. Its diesel engine variant will not be available.
tata sierra
Tata Sierra was introduced at the 2023 Auto Expo as an electric SUV concept. The production-ready model is expected to launch in 2025. This SUV has a 5-gate body shell with conventional doors and tailgate. The new Sierra presents a distinctive appearance with connected headlamps through a chrome strip, dual-tone wheels and blacked-out C and D pillars.
Built on Tata’s Gen 2 architecture (updated ALFA platform), the Sierra measures 4.3 meters in length. The futuristic and tech-savvy interior is expected to include a larger 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument panel, a new steering design, a head-up display (HUD) and a central speaker music system. Details about the powertrain of the new Sierra have not been revealed yet. Tata Motors aims to create a stir in the electric SUV segment with this new offering.
