Randeep Surjewala further said, “The statement was simply that everyone in public life should be accountable to the public, be it Naib Saini, Khattar, or me. Everything is created and destroyed on the basis of karma; The public is supreme, and in elections, one has to take decisions using one’s discretion. I clearly said that we respect Hema Malini, and she is our daughter-in-law. They see everything through the lens of misogyny and spread lies as per their convenience!”
