Pakistan Cricket Team
Australia’s Jason Gillespie was made the captain of the Pakistani Test team last month. The former Australia fast bowler said he will also coordinate with white-ball head coach Gary Kirsten to manage the players’ workload across all formats. He said that he will reach here soon to meet Pakistan Cricket Board officials and conduct training sessions.
Pakistani coach said this big thing
Gillespie said that I want to keep an eye on the domestic structure and domestic events in Pakistan and know about the players who perform well in it. I will spend some time in Pakistan and watch the players in the home environment. I am waiting to go to Pakistan. Before the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, we are hoping to hold a camp in which we will work on improving fitness and skills.
He said that we will also ensure that we take good care of our players, especially those playing in more than one format. We have to be really careful not to let them down because we want them to give their best for Pakistan. This means that players will be given rest from time to time as per the need. We can’t rely on the same 11 players to play day in and day out all year long. We need to make sure we have a team mentality.
Shan Masood is the captain in test
Pakistani coach said that it is our duty to take care of the players. We want to give our players the best opportunity to succeed. So that he is performing well. After poor performance in the ODI World Cup 2023, Babar Azam left the captaincy of all three formats. He has been made the limited overs captain again. But the captain of Pakistani team in Test is still Shan Masood.
