Adani Green Energy Group: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has installed 2,000 MW of solar capacity at the massive Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat, becoming the first company in India to have more than 10,000 MW of renewable capacity. The company said it now has an operational renewable energy capacity of 10,934 MW, the highest in India.
Emission of 21 million tonnes of CO2 will be reduced
2,848 MW renewable capacity was installed in the financial year 2023-24. The operational portion of AGEN’s renewable energy portfolio includes 7,393 MW of solar, 1,401 MW of wind and 2,140 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity. The company aims to install 45 GW renewable capacity by 2030. The 10,934 MW operational portion of AGEN will power more than 58 lakh houses, the statement said. Will save about 21 million tonnes of CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions annually.
The target is 45,000 MW

Adani further said that under the target of 45,000 MW (45 GW) by 2030, we are building the world’s largest renewable energy plant in Khavda. Khavra is a 30,000 MW project which has no competition globally. AGEN is not only setting standards for the world but also redefining them.
