Due to the efforts of Supaul DM Kaushal Kumar, the awareness campaign got a new wing.
In Supaul district of Bihar, a team of 10 departments is knocking on the homes of voters.
In an effort to increase the voting percentage, the team will also check the voting mark on the finger.
Supaul. A new survey has revealed that about 89 percent people are present but the voting figure is only 60 to 62 percent. After all, why don’t 27 to 30 percent people vote? Due to this concern, Supaul district administration is working on a new action plan which seems that this time the voting percentage will be shocking. Actually, to increase the voting percentage, Supaul DM Kaushal Kumar conducted a door to door survey from the voter list. People from 10 departments of the district were involved in this. The report given by the people of Jeevika, ICDS, Health and Education Department in the survey surprised everyone.
Actually, the survey revealed that it is wrong to say that a large number of people stay outside, while 89 percent people are in their homes, but the voting percentage is only 60 to 62 percent. Now the big question is why do these remaining 27 to 30 percent people not use their right to vote?
Preparation to bring 30 percent to the booth
Employees of 10 departments of the district are knocking on every house, working on banners, pamphlets and every page of the voter list. Since February, personnel of 10 departments have been knocking on all the houses separately, so that people can be brought to the booths on the day of voting. It seems that this time the voting percentage is almost certain to increase.
Unique initiative of Supaul DM Kaushal Kumar to increase the voting percentage in Lok Sabha elections.
10’s knock and children’s appeal
Employees of 10 departments are not only visiting every house one by one to create awareness, the district administration is also taking separate initiatives. Even before the summer vacation, the people of the administration have taught school children a lesson to ask their parents to vote in order to increase the voting percentage. For this, an appeal pamphlet written in Maithili has been distributed among all the children of the school, so that the children can go to their homes and ask their parents to vote.
Big preparations are underway for voting day
Along with this, a chain has been made to make people aware so that workers reach people’s homes at different times. A pass is also being issued to these personnel on the orders of DM Kaushal Kumar so that on the day of voting, on the basis of their survey, these personnel will go to each house and check the fingers of the people to see whether they have cast their vote or not. Then she will ask them to go to the booth and vote.
