Must reach school within 30 days
Patna District Education Officer Amit Kumar said that within 30 days of getting the appointment letter, the candidates will have to reach the school and join. Before this, they have to make and submit a health certificate from the civil surgeon. Along with this, self-declared affidavit of not taking status will also have to be submitted.
The process of checking the certificate will be completed by September 30
The distribution of appointment letters to the candidates has started from February 23 in all 38 districts. One and a half to two dozen districts including Patna will complete it in a single day. In big districts like Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Begusarai, Samastipur, Khagaria etc., appointment letters will be distributed on three days 23, 24 and 25. In some districts, this process is expected to start from February 26.
Investigation will be done till 30 September
Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary Sanjay Kumar said that those who get the appointment letter will be posted in the school on the basis of their choice. Those who are found correct in the investigation, they will start getting the salary and the rest will be paid after the verification of the certificate. The inquiry will be held till September 30.
On July 5, 2019, the Education Department had issued a notification for the appointment of 91 thousand elementary teachers. According to the earlier schedule, the appointment letter was to be received before 31 March 2020. But it was postponed till 11 February 2020. Even after this, it continued to move forward eight or ten times. Finally, Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary announced the distribution of appointment letters from February 23. 42,047 candidates have been selected, out of which the eligibility (TET-STET) of 900 is invalid.
