At the same time, the matter of organizing Iftar party has also come to light from Mithila University of Darbhanga, Bihar, due to which the political mercury has heated up. Its video is also going viral on social media. Due to which the BJP has opened a front against the Registrar of the University. On the other hand, an Iftar party was allegedly organized in the university on April 26. Iftar party was organized on the instructions of JDU leader Imamul Haq. On the other hand, BJP has put the organizers of the party, including the university, in question after the matter came to light. At the same time, BJP MLA from Darbhanga Sanjay Saraogi has raised strong objections to the Iftar party.
He said that the way educational institutions are being made centers of religious activities, it is absolutely unfair, so efforts should be made to curb it. Along with this, he has also raised questions on the functioning of the Registrar, including the Vice-Chancellor of the University. On the other hand, the registrar of the university Mushtaq Ahmed said that the iftar party has nothing to do with the university. No instructions were given by the university regarding the organization of the Iftar party. He further said that some students of the university had organized an Iftar party, which was not allowed. It is worth noting that iftar was organized on 26 April last, but this whole matter came to light when the video related to it on social media in this context went viral. At present, the political mercury has reached its peak regarding this.
At the same time, objecting to the Iftar party organized in the university, Meena Jha said that if students are being allowed to organize Iftar in the campus, then we should also be allowed to read and worship Hanuman Chalisa. On the other hand, objections have also been raised regarding the way Namaz has been offered after the organization of Iftar in the university. However, the war of words between the students of opposite ideologies is going on regarding this whole issue. At the same time, JDU leader Inzammul Haque said that some people are saying that iftar party and are objecting to offering Namaz immediately after Iftar, I want to clearly tell all those people that the tradition of offering Namaz after Iftar Is.
At the same time, the way iftar party is being objected in the university, he said that even before this festivals like Holi, Diwali are organized in the university, in the same way Iftar has been organized. However, some students are opposing the iftar saying that the university should refrain from becoming a center of religious activities and try to keep the university as a center of education.
