The relatives bought breakfast from outside and fed it to their patients. After the incident came to light, the Sims management has formed a committee to investigate the matter. It is being said that action will be taken against the food contractor. On Wednesday morning, the employees of the food contractor were distributing poha for breakfast to the patients of Sims.
Meanwhile, the patient admitted to the Mail Medical Ward found a worm in the breakfast. This caused a stir in the Sims. After receiving the complaint, the Sims management has given instructions to form a committee for investigation. After this, on Thursday, when the employees of the contractor reached the ward to serve breakfast to the patients, most of the patients’ relatives refused to take it. After this, relatives brought snacks from outside and fed them to their patients. The patients who did not know about getting the worm, they only took breakfast.

The manager of the contractor is missing while preparing the meal or snack. Meals and snacks are being prepared on the trust of the staff. In the meantime, the employees act arbitrarily. In the past too many complaints have been made to the Sims Management for serving poor quality food. But strict action has not been taken against the contractor. A show cause notice has been issued to the food contractor in the case of worm in the breakfast. Action will be taken if satisfactory answer is not received.
