Bilaspur. Bilaspur Crime News: The Sarkanda Police has arrested the person who tried to get the 11 acres of 20 decimil government land located in Chilhati in his name by truncating the documents. The then Tehsildar had complained in the matter in 2015-16. After investigating the complaint of the Tehsildar, the police registered the crime after six years of investigation. Bhondudas Manikpuri, a resident of Hemunagar in Torwa area, had applied in the Tehsildar’s court in 2015-16 to get the name corrected in his land document.
In his application, Bhondudas stated that he had completed the Vasala B. The land was purchased from the resident Juna Bilaspur through a registered sale deed. Since then the land is running in his name. In the past, his name has been deleted from the revenue document. He has registered with his application the true copy of the sale deed, the true copy of the Khasra Panchsala year 1982-83 from the chief copyist district office, Bilaspur, the record of rights year 1954-55, the copy of the collector’s order, the copy of the Tehsildar’s order, 1992-93 documents. An attested copy of the same was also attached. Action was started in the Tehsildar’s office after receiving the application for correction in the document.
On October 10, 2016, the Tehsildar sent the matter to the SDM’s court to order, after not receiving any claim objection in the advertisement publication. During investigation in the SDM office, it was found that the land documents applied for in Lagra and Chilhati are government. On this the matter was sent for investigation. Investigation revealed that Bhondudas, with the help of other people, tried to capture government land through forged documents. For this he has presented fake documents in the court. On this, the IG constituted an investigation team and ordered an inquiry into the matter. After six years of investigation, on Sunday, the Sarkanda police registered a crime in the case. The accused Bhondudas has been arrested on Sunday morning.
