The demand for Mahidra Bolero, which is known as the most affordable MPV of the country’s leading utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra, is continuously increasing. This MPV has registered tremendous growth in its segment and has become the second largest selling MPV in the country. In the month of February, Bolero has got more than 11 thousand buyers, with which it has given a tremendous competition to the Maruti Ertiga, which is called the leader of the segment.
If we look at the sales figures, a total of 11,649 units of Maruti Ertiga have been sold in the last month, which is 19% more than 9,774 units in the month of February last year. On the other hand, Mahindra Bolero has been in second place, during which the company has sold 11,045 units, which is 128% more than just 4,843 units in the same month last year. This sudden surge in demand for Bolero has shocked everyone.
Why Mahindra Bolero is People’s Favorite:
Mahindra Bolero has been performing well in the Indian market for almost two decades, when it was first introduced in the year 2000. Originally based on the Mahindra Armada, the MPV has been updated several times so far and is well received in both urban and rural areas. Due to strong performance and better space, it has no competition in the market even today.
Mahindra Bolero comes in a total of three variants, which include B4, B6 and B6 (Optional). Talking about safety features, features like dual airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), reverse parking sensor, seat-belt reminder, co-driver occupation detection system have been provided in it. These features have been given as standard, which are available in all variants. Recently, the company has included the airbag feature in it, which has made this MPV even more secure.

In Bolero, the company has given 1.5 liter capacity mHawk diesel engine which generates power of 75 BHP and torque of 210 Nm. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Coming with 7 seats, this MPV normally gives mileage of up to 16 kmpl. Its price is between Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh.
