Bilaspur RPF News: After the incident of theft of 25 meters OHE catnery wire between Kotlia-Jamga railway station, the Railway Task Team has recovered the stolen goods from the shop of a utensil trader in Raigad. But surprisingly, the businessman easily escaped from the front of the team. Now many questions are being raised regarding the action.
The continuous thefts in the railway station and siding of the division have given sleep to the Railway Protection Force, Bilaspur. The task team constituted by the Divisional Security Commissioner is making continuous efforts to curb the crimes. Joint team one of CIB Bilaspur has recovered 25 meter OHE catenary wire stolen in one such case. According to the information received, 25 meters OHE catenary wire was stolen between Kotlia-Jamga railway station on the night of March 1 and 2. The team caught four suspects after 24 hours of the incident. After this he accepted to sell the stolen wire at Puranmal Janakram Utensil Shop located in Raigad. On the suspicion of the four accused, the team reached that utensil shop. There shop operator Nitesh Agarwal alias Pappal was present on the spot. The accused also identified him. The stolen wire was recovered in the presence of shop employee Anil Gahir. Meanwhile, Nitesh ran away from there. The four accused have been arrested. There is also a minor in it. An offense has been registered against them under the Railway Act. All the thieves are residents of Vishwanathpali village.
Liquor smuggler caught in Anuppur
During checking, officers of Railway Protection Force TOPB Task Team 2 caught a person in suspicious condition with a red colored bag at platform number 3 and 4 Amlai end of Anuppur station. During interrogation it was found that his name is Sanjay Singh. Lives in a rented house in Amarkantak. 18 liters of country liquor was recovered in his bag. After this an offense has been registered against him.
