Kolkata. CBI had raided Sandeshkhali in West Bengal on Friday and recovered a large number of weapons. It was also claimed that foreign revolvers and country made bombs were recovered. After which the bomb disposal squad of NSG was also called. Now this issue is heating up the politics further. On one hand, the ruling TMC has alleged that during the Lok Sabha elections, BJP is conspiring to defame West Bengal and is creating drama by bringing a bomb disposal robot. At the same time, BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari has demanded to declare TMC as a terrorist organization.

Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly, Subhendu Adhikari said that foreign weapons have been found in Sandeshkhali. Explosives like RDX are being used in anti-national activities. All these weapons are used by international terrorists. Shubhendu Adhikari also demanded that West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee be arrested and TMC be declared a terrorist organization. At the same time, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya has said that the stockpile of weapons is nothing else but to wage war against the country. At the same time, TMC General Secretary Kunal Ghosh said that there is doubt on what the CBI is saying. BJP is using central agencies to defame us.
Let us tell you that apart from weapons, CBI has claimed to have recovered all the documents related to TMC leader and now arrested Shahjahan Sheikh from Sandeshkhali. Shahjahan Sheikh is accused of attacking ED officers on January 5 this year. Apart from this, the women of Sandeshkhali had also made serious allegations against Shahjahan Shaikh and his henchmen of rape, harassment and land grabbing. After being absconding for a long time, Shahjahan Sheikh was finally arrested by the West Bengal Police after a rebuke from the Calcutta High Court. Now the investigation of the entire matter has been handed over to CBI. Against which Mamata Banerjee’s government has also gone to the Supreme Court.
