New Delhi. The ongoing war between BJP and CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi is taking new colors every day. In this episode, now all 7 BJP MPs from Delhi have sent a letter to Lieutenant Governor Vimal Kumar Saxena, demanding an inquiry into Kejriwal’s claim. Kejriwal had claimed in the Assembly on Monday that the BJP has earmarked Rs 800 crore to buy the MLAs of his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Earlier, Kejriwal and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had claimed that an offer of 20-20 crores has been made by the BJP to bring MLAs to their side. BJP MPs have complained about the same to the Lieutenant Governor.
In the letter sent to the lieutenant governor, all 7 BJP MPs from Delhi, Manoj Tiwari, Dr Harsh Vardhan, Meenakshi Lekhi, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma, Gautam Gambhir and Hansraj Hans are signed. In this letter, MPs have written that Kejriwal is constantly making false statements that BJP is trying to buy MLAs of his party. Manish Sisodia even claimed that he had received a phone call from BJP. BJP MPs have written in the letter that by making such allegations, the Kejriwal government wants to divert the attention of the public from the liquor and classroom scam.
BJP MPs have further written in the letter that such statements of Kejriwal and AAP leaders are trying to tarnish the image of BJP. This is hurting them. BJP MPs have requested the Lieutenant Governor to get the statements of Kejriwal and AAP leaders investigated by some authority, so that the reality can come before the people of Delhi and the country.
