1.Puran Poli
Puran Poli Ganpati Bappa is very fond of roti made by stuffing jaggery and coconut in wheat flour dough.
2. Boondi laddus
Boondi laddus made from native ghee are very dear to God.
3. Kheer
In Sanskrit, Kshirika i.e. Kheer is considered to be the favorite food of the gods, so offering it to Lord Ganesha is also considered auspicious.
4.Modak
After stuffing sweet mawa in rice dough, it is prepared by steaming it. This is Bappa’s favorite dessert.
5.Purmura
There is a legend related to Ganesh ji from Murmure. Once Lord Ganesha was invited by Kuber ji to the family for a feast, Ganesh ji took the intention of boasting of his wealth and reached alone. After this he ate so much that Kuber ji’s wealth was reduced. After this, on the advice of Lord Shiva, Kuber ji finished Bappa’s hunger by lovingly feeding a handful of puffed rice. Therefore Murmura can also be offered to God.
