Lok Sabha Elections 2024: All political parties are releasing their lists of candidates for the general elections, but the fifth list of BJP candidates is being eagerly awaited. Let us tell you that BJP, which is engaged in the target of crossing Mission 400, held a meeting of the Central Election Committee on Saturday and in this meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi, the names of the candidates have been finalized. According to the information, an important meeting was held at PM Modi’s residence on Sunday and it is being said that the names of 10 candidates from UP have been decided in this meeting. It is also being reported that BJP can release its fifth list any time on Sunday.
Who will get the chance, whose ticket can be cut?
According to sources, this time BJP is going to cancel the tickets of many MPs in UP and the biggest names among them are Varun Gandhi from Pilibhit, VK Singh from Ghaziabad and Sanghamitra Maurya from Badaun. Although BJP can again field Maneka Gandhi from Sultanpur, there is suspense on many big names in UP. Like the names of Bareilly MP Santosh Gangwar, Rita Bahuguna Joshi from Prayagraj and Meerut MP Rajendra Aggarwal have not been approved yet. The BJP high command is brainstorming on all these seats and names of UP and after the names are finalized, BJP can release its fifth list today.
List of many states including UP may be released
BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting was held on Saturday night in which senior leaders including PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, were present. The names of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections were discussed in the meeting. It is expected that BJP may release its fifth list on Sunday. Earlier, BJP had announced candidates from southern states in the last two lists.
According to information received from sources, Dharmendra Pradhan from Sambhalpur, Sambit Patra from Puri and Aparajita Sarangi from Bhubaneswar can get tickets. Whereas the tickets of two sitting MPs Visheshwar Tudu and Pratap Sarangi may be cut.
