Rajnandgaon (Representational) In Rabi season, farmers have to wander for fertilizer. Many traders are doing black marketing by creating artificial crisis of fertilizers. Aam Aadmi Party asked the administration to stop it
Requested. Otherwise there is a warning of agitation. The party alleges that the fertilizer is being sold illegally in village-village. If action is not taken, there will be agitation.
In the memorandum submitted to the administration, it has been said that black marketing of fertilizers is going on openly. Due to which farmers are not getting fertilizer. Manure is being sold at double the price in the shops. The party alleges that there is complicity of the Agriculture Department in this. The department is completely silent. Due to which the black marketing of fertilizers is continuously increasing. No action is being taken on this. Manure is being sold in shops at expensive prices. Supply is much less than the demand: At least three thousand tonnes of manure is required in the district at present. Last week only 1200 tonnes of manure was received. Due to lack of supply as per demand, fertilizers are not available in cooperative societies. The fertilizers that are reaching private shops are being sold at exorbitant prices. This has increased the problems of the farmers.
