Threat to hospitals and Tihar Jail
Two weeks ago, a similar email threatened to bomb seven hospitals and Tihar Jail in Delhi. This threat was also received through email. Earlier, 20 hospitals of Delhi, airport and the office of the Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway had also received similar threats. According to the police, the emails were sent using the European mailing service company ‘Bible.com’ and contained the same content as the emails sent to hospitals on Sunday. “I have placed explosive devices in your building,” the threat said. They will explode within a few hours. This is not a threat, you have a few hours to defuse the bomb, otherwise you will be responsible for the bloodshed of innocent people inside the building.” An official noted that an email was sent to a hospital, copies of which were sent to others and to Tihar Jail. However, nothing suspicious was found in the investigation by police and bomb disposal squad.
