A builder was stabbed to death after being robbed on Sunday in a luxurious kothi of Civil Lines, a posh area of the capital Delhi. Police have started investigation by registering a case of murder and robbery in this regard. It is being told that the place where this incident took place is about a kilometer away from the house of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Civil Lines Police Station of North District said that the deceased builder Ram Kishore Agarwal (77 years) was stabbed to death with a knife. There were many marks of stab wounds on the neck and body of the deceased. Apart from Ram Kishore, his sons and daughters-in-law live in this house.

Police said that on Sunday, May 1, at 6:52 am, a call was received at the police station Civil Lines in which the caller said that his father was slit at 1, RKA Marg, Civil Lines, who has been taken to the hospital. . Police immediately reached the spot and found that Ram Kishore Agrawal (age 77) resident of Civil Lines was brought dead at Sushruta Trauma Center Civil Lines.
During interrogation it was revealed that around 06:40 a.m. the son of the deceased had found his father lying on the bed and had four stab wounds on his body. Some cardboard boxes were also found missing from the room, in which cash was kept. The exact amount of cash is not yet known.
It is being told that a security guard had seen two persons trying to escape from the house early in the morning. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case under section 302/397/34 of IPC and started investigation in this regard.
The crime team also visited the spot and collected evidence. The police is investigating the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the house along with interrogating the relatives and close relatives of the deceased. Police say that several teams have been formed from across the district to nab the criminals at the earliest.
It is worth noting that on Saturday morning, four unidentified people robbed jewelery worth about Rs 4 crore from a kothi in Anand Lok area under Thana Defense Colony in South Delhi. After the robbery, the miscreants escaped by tying the feet of the 68-year-old woman from the grandmother and granddaughter present in the room. Seeing two incidents in Delhi within two days, it seems that now elderly people living in posh areas are on target of criminals.
