A burqa-clad woman who threw a petrol bomb at a CRPF bunker in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore has been arrested. On Tuesday, a video of petrol bombs being thrown at the bunker had surfaced. In the CCTV footage, a woman wearing a burqa is seen taking out a petrol bomb from the bag and throwing it at the CRPF bunker. After this a fire breaks out there, which CRPF personnel are seen extinguishing. The woman has been identified as Haseena Akhtar, who is associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Apart from this, she has also been involved in activities related to terrorism in the past.
Kashmir Police IG Vijay Kumar said that the woman who threw the bomb at the CRPF bunker has been identified. Apart from this, Hasina Akhtar has been arrested. Police say that three cases are already registered against Hasina Akhtar in different police stations of North Kashmir. Police said Hasina Akhtar has been working as an overground worker of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Not only this, the head of its Dukhtaran-e-Millat organization, Asiya Andrabi, has also been related. Police said that a case was registered against Hasina Akhtar in Handwara under UAPA in 2019.
This case was registered against Hasina Akhtar for pasting posters of Lashkar-e-Taiba. After this another case was registered against her, but later came out on bail. Recently his video became increasingly viral on social media. In this video, a woman wearing a burqa is seen throwing a bomb at a bunker. Since then the search was on for the woman who threw the bomb, which has now been completed. It has become clear from this incident that some women are also active with terrorist organizations in the valley.
