New Delhi. YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as ‘Mr Beast’, has become the first person to cross 1 million followers on the recently launched social media platform ‘Threads’ app by Meta. Within just 24 hours of launch, Threads had its first 30 million users. Out of these 30 million users, 1 million people followed Mr. Beast and became the first user to get 1 million followers on such Mr. Beast threads.
Mr. Beast, 25, joined Threads on July 6 at around 9 am and soon after joining, he has achieved this feat and registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Mr. Beast jokingly describes himself as ‘Future Threads CEO’ in his bio. He told Zuckerberg about this after he got one million followers. To this Mark Zuckerberg celebrated 10 million sign-ups on Meta within just seven hours of launch, jokingly replying to Mr Beast, ‘That’s way over 1 million.’
