Uproar over electoral bonds
There was a lot of uproar in the Supreme Court regarding electoral bonds. In fact, the Supreme Court had asked SBI to disclose the names of parties purchasing electoral bonds along with the unique code. But many times complete information was not given by SBI. After this, when the information given by SBI was published on the website of the Election Commission, it was found that the unique code was not given in it. It was only when the Supreme Court showed strictness in the next hearing on this matter that the updated information was shared by SBI by issuing a unique code.
