RG Kar Doctor Murder Live: After the rape and murder of a female trainee doctor in Kolkata, many irregularities of the hospital have come to light. After the victim’s father, now the junior residents of the hospital have also started raising their voice against the pressure on the former principal and the college administration. Meanwhile, the investigation of this case has been handed over to the CBI. The CBI is interrogating the accused after taking him into custody. Meanwhile, the former principal and the lady doctor’s colleagues are also being questioned. But, there has been a huge twist in the case that the CBI has included its top officer, who had solved the Hathras rape case, in the investigation.
According to the news received, the Supreme Court will hear the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata today i.e. on 20th August. A three-judge bench of Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra will hear the case. Former secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association Rohit Pandey and lawyer Ujjwal Gaur had written a letter to the CJI demanding suo motu cognizance of the case.
