Recently, a case has come to the fore in which a person got costly for extra marital affair. Actually, a 32-year-old engineer had gone to Maldives with his girlfriend and after that he tore the pages of the visa stamp on the passport with the intention of hiding his travel history. He was afraid that his wife might come to know that he had gone for a holiday to Maldives with his girlfriend. But this cleverness of the engineer did not work. The immigration department caught hold of the man and handed him over to the Sahar police station.
The police arrested the man for cheating, forgery and under various sections of the Passport Act. On being questioned by the police, the engineer told that he had committed such a mistake to avoid the wrath of his wife. According to the information given by the Sahar police, the accused had gone to Maldives to meet his girlfriend and after returning he told a different false story to his wife that he would not come home for a few days due to office work, but as The same wife started making WhatsApp calls, she panicked and returned to India from Maldives.

During the Maldives tour, he was not answering his wife’s calls. Also page numbers 3-6 and 31-34 were also found missing from his passport. Moreover, he was not able to give satisfactory reply to the agency. According to the police, the accused told that he was not aware that tearing the pages of the passport comes under the category of crime.
