Google has taken major action against many Indian apps. The company has removed about 10 apps from Google Play Store. This action has been taken by Google regarding the bill payment dispute. According to Google, this action has been taken against the app developers who were not following the billing policy. After this step taken by Google regarding apps, now the Indian government has also become strict.
The Indian government has taken a tough stance on the move to remove apps from Google Play Store. Now Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said a big thing in this matter. He said that Google will not be allowed to remove the app in any way. The government has also called a meeting next week to resolve the bill payment dispute. Along with Google, Google Play Store and app developers, people from the government will also participate in this meeting.

Let us tell you that the apps which have been removed from Google Play Store by Google include Shaadi.com, Bharat Matrimony, Matrimony.com, Naukri.com, Kuku FM,99acres, Stage, QuackQuack, Alt Balaji’s (Altt), like Apps included.
Google has said that more than two lakh Indian app developers use Google Play Store. According to the company, there is the same policy for all developers, whether it is a big developer or a small app developer. According to the company, there are some app developers who are not ready to accept the billing policy. He was warned several times but he did not listen. After this it was decided to remove the apps.
Let us tell you that the fee dispute between Google and app developers has been going on for a long time. A case was also registered in the Supreme Court in this matter, but on 9 February 2024, the court refused to interfere in this matter. Google said that the apps which were removed were given 3 years time but they refused to follow the policy.
