He laid the foundation stone of sports stadium to be built at a cost of Rs.14 crore 4 lakh and construction of roads and streets in Phusgarh village at a cost of Rs.3 crore 70 lakh and from Tau Devilal Chowk to Maharana Pratap Chowk to be built at a cost of Rs.4 crore 8 lakh. Road reconstruction work and construction of 21 parks in Sector 32 and 33 at a cost of about Rs 5 crore 83 lakh and community center boundary wall, gate and yoga shed at Sardar Milkha Singh Stadium at a cost of Rs 3 crore 78 lakh. laid the foundation stone. He also announced an indoor stadium for Kabaddi to be built at a cost of 2 crores.
Giving detailed information about the foundation stone laying program, the Chief Minister said that players would get more benefits from the hockey stadium to be built at a cost of Rs.14 crore 4 lakh in Kailash village and national level hockey competitions would be organized in Karnal district. Describing about 63 roads to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 70 lakh in Phusgarh village, whose total length is 4 km, he said that the village is the main area of Karnal coming under the Fusgarh Municipal Corporation. This development work is being completed fulfilling the demand of the residents of this area. With the completion of this work, the people of the surrounding area will also get direct benefits. Similarly, about the reconstruction of Meerut Road road at a cost of Rs 4 crore 8 lakh, the Chief Minister said that it is the old and main road of the city which is being developed under Smart City Project. Regarding the foundation stone laid under the Smart City Project at Sardar Milkha Singh Stadium, he said that an area of 10 thousand square meters is being covered in the stadium, under which a hall and yoga shed will be built, so that the players of indoor games will be given direct access. Will get benefit. Describing about the development of parks in Sector 32 and 33, he said that a total of 21 parks would be developed under the Smart City Project, which would cost about Rs 5 crore 83 lakh. This will also give better facilities to the people there. He said that there is no dearth of funds for development works. The development will be carried forward in the same way in future also.
