In southwest China, 14 miners trapped in a coal mine collapse 10 days ago have died. This information has been given by quoting media reports. The rescue operation was called off on Sunday afternoon after the bodies of the miners were retrieved, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Miners were trapped after the roof of a coal mine in Guizhou province collapsed on February 25. The rescue operation was challenging as the place where the mine roof collapsed was about three kilometers from the mine entrance. The accident is being further investigated.
