Why PUBG Mobile got banned
Those who are not aware that PUBG Mobile has been removed. Let us tell them, the Indian government had banned many Chinese apps along with PUBG Mobile, citing national security at risk. Since then, BGMI was launched exclusively for India, replacing the popular battle royale game. However, now, it seems that this version has also been removed in the Indian market. Google had earlier said in an official statement that- “We have notified the affected developer and blocked access to the app.”
Banned under section 69A
Although there is no official information on why this game has been removed, but according to a Reuters news, BGMI has been banned under Section 69A of the IT Law. This is the same law under which other Chinese apps were banned before. For now, the game is not available for download on the Play Store or App Store. However, users who already have the game installed on their smartphones can still enjoy the game as its servers are still active.
