China’s two-day military exercise concluded
China’s military exercise around Taiwan has now ended. This two-day exercise was named Joint Sword 2024A. It has now been completed. From the beginning of this exercise, it was feared that China was doing this exercise to harass Taiwan. However, some people said that this military exercise was done by China to put pressure on Taiwan and surround Taiwan. During this, China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) practiced attacking Taiwan and the islands under its control for the first time. Mainly China’s Navy and Air Force participated in this war exercise.
China’s military exercises near Taiwan ended
The military channel of China’s state television said that this military exercise was completed on Friday as per the pre-planned program. However, no comment has been made by the Chinese Defense Ministry regarding this military exercise so far. China has described Taiwan, which is ruled by a democratically elected government, as its part. However, Taiwan has been calling itself a sovereign nation. Let us tell you that Taiwan has got a new president just three days ago, whose name is Lai Ching Te. Just three days after he assumed office, China conducted a two-day military exercise.
62 fighter jets at a time
Let us tell you that in his first speech after becoming the President, Lai Ching Te had asked China to stop threatening Taiwan. He had said that Taiwan is a democratic country. China should accept its sovereignty. It was being said that this war exercise was done by China because of his speech. According to the statement issued by the Defense Ministry of Taiwan, during this war exercise, 62 fighter planes were found in the sky and 27 warships were found practicing attack in the sea at one time. Out of this, 46 fighter planes crossed the middle line of the Taiwan Strait. During this, China also used Sukhoi 30 fighter planes and nuclear attack H-6 bombers.
