Sikar. Many times you must have heard and seen officials who had come to inspect poor government construction work running away quietly due to the protest of the villagers. But you would have never come across an incident where an official took off his pants in front of everyone after the protest of the villagers. A similar case has come to light in Sikar district of Rajasthan. Here the villagers surrounded the official who had come to inspect the construction work of CHC. Seeing the protest, the official took off his pants in front of the villagers.
According to the information, this incident happened on Saturday in Bibipur Bara village of Fatehpur subdivision of Sikar district. The villagers were complaining about the scam in the construction of the community health center being built there for a long time. The villagers were alleging that substandard material was being used in its construction. On this complaint, Assistant Engineer Arjun Singh arrived for investigation on Saturday.
The villagers were stunned to see the officer’s actions
When the assistant engineer reached there, a large number of villagers gathered there. The villagers protested and showed him the poor quality of construction work and reprimanded him. Seeing the voices of protest of the villagers getting louder, the assistant engineer took off his pants in front of everyone. This left the villagers stunned. Later, the villagers explained to him and made him sit in another room.
CHC is being built at a cost of Rs 5 crore 35 lakh
CAHC was approved in Bibipur Bada during the previous government. It is being constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore 35 lakh. For a long time, the villagers were complaining about poor construction. Village Sarpanch representative Sushil Chotiya says that the material being used in this construction is not correct. The villagers were saying for a long time that their cement and gravel are being taken out even before the work is completed.
The official admitted that substandard material is being used
Later, the local police station was informed about the entire matter. The police reached the spot and explained the matter to the villagers. After this entire incident, the assistant engineer himself is also admitting that the construction work is being done with substandard material. The police say that no complaint has been lodged in this regard. If any complaint is received, action will be taken. From the villagers to the officers, everyone is admitting that substandard material is being used in this entire construction. In such a situation, the question arises that why action has not been taken till now?
