French car maker Citroen is about to launch one of its premium hatchback car Citroen C3 in the domestic market of India on July 20. But the company has already announced its prices before its launch.
The company is going to launch the Citroen C3 with a starting price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom), which will go up to Rs 8.50 lakh if this car goes to the top model.
Regarding the Citroen C3, the company claims that this car will prove to be a premium car in the hatchback segment, in which sporty design, highest ground clearance, premium features have been given. The company will launch 6 variants of this car in the market.
The company is going to offer the Citroen C3 with two engine options and both of these engines will be petrol engines. In this, the first engine will be naturally aspirated and the second engine will be turbo charged engine. Before this, the engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual gearbox with the turbo variant.
Regarding the mileage of this car, the company claims that this Citroen C3 is going to leave many cars behind in terms of mileage. According to the reports, the mileage of this hatchback can be 20 to 23 kmpl.
The five variants in which the company is going to launch this Citroen C3 include the first variant 1.2P Live, the second variant 1.2P Feel, the third variant 1.2P Feel Vibe Pack, the fourth variant 1.2P Feel Dual Tone, the fifth variant 1.2P Feel Dual Tone Pack. And the sixth variant will be 1.2P Turbo Feel Dual Tone Pack.
The company has not yet given any official information about the features but according to reports, it will have a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, front ventilated seat, multi-function steering wheel, auto climate control, USB charging port, on the front seat. Dual airbags, anti-lock braking system, EBS, rear car parking are expected to offer features.
After its launch on July 20, this Citroen C3 is going to compete directly with Tata Punch, Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Grand i10 Neos, Renault Chiger.
