Jaipur. Monsoon which has become active again in Rajasthan today can cause havoc in more than a dozen districts of the state. On the first Monday of Sawan, there can be a flurry of rain in the state today. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in 19 districts today. These include Ajmer, Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Jalore, Jodhpur and Pali districts. These include 16 districts of eastern Rajasthan and 3 districts of western Rajasthan. Earlier on Sunday, there was heavy rain in Nathdwara of Rajsamand.
According to the Meteorological Department, the depression area in the Bay of Bengal has weakened and turned into a low pressure area. It is currently over Odisha, Chhattisgarh and their surrounding areas. The monsoon trough line is still located south of its normal position today and is passing through Jaisalmer and Kota in Rajasthan. Due to its effect, heavy rains may occur in many areas today. There are also indications of very heavy rains in some areas tomorrow.
Eastern Rajasthan will be most affected
According to the Meteorological Department, its maximum impact in Rajasthan will be in eastern Rajasthan. Heavy rain is expected in 16 districts of this area today. Along with heavy rain in three districts of western Rajasthan, there will be rain activities in other districts as well. Strong winds can also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 and in some districts 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.

Clouds rained in Nathdwara and Jaipur
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activity of monsoon, there was heavy rain in Rajsamand on Sunday. Due to this, the roads and streets there turned into rivers. A young man was swept away along with his bicycle in the Sarafa market of Nathdwara. People rescued him. There was scattered rain in some areas of the capital Jaipur as well. This made the weather pleasant. But many areas continued to struggle with heat and humidity.
