New Delhi. Assembly elections are due soon in Gujarat. Elections to the 182-seat Gujarat Assembly were earlier held in 2017 in which the Bharatiya Janata Party was reduced to 99 seats. Although at that time the BJP’s direct fight was with the country’s oldest party Congress, but this time Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party has also entered the fray with full enthusiasm to form its government in the state. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s party is playing lucrative bets to woo voters in the state. In this sequence, now the CM of Delhi has played the Hindutva card. CM Kejriwal has made a demand from PM Modi regarding Maa Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on Wednesday by holding a press conference.
In a press conference, CM Kejriwal has demanded that along with Gandhiji, the photo of Lord Ganesha and Mother Lakshmi of Hindus should also be displayed on the Indian currency. CM Kejriwal believes that if there is Gandhi ji on one side and Lakshmi-Ganesh on one side on the note, then his grace will remain on the whole country (India).

Why was the picture of God on the note, the reason given
CM Kejriwal also gave the reason why the photo of Lord Ganesha and Maa Lakshmi should be put in Indian currency and said that the festival of Diwali has gone some time back. On this festival we worship Maa Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, seek their blessings. This is what we want for the country. So that his blessings remain on the whole country. Kejriwal further said that he is not asking to change the notes, he wants those who now print new notes, if it starts with them, then gradually they will come in circulation. Kejriwal said that he will also write a letter to the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi for this.

BJP attacker on Kejriwal’s statement
Now the Bharatiya Janata Party has become an attacker on this statement of CM Kejriwal. Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson Sambit Patra attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s demand and said that his politics has now come on a U-turn. This is the same person (Kejriwal) who was earlier refusing to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Patra further said that you must have heard him saying in a press conference some time back that if someone celebrates Diwali then you will be put in jail and now the same Kejriwal is being found speaking about Ganesh and Lakshmi. Patra said that Diwali is the festival of Lakshmi ji and Ganesh ji and today the same person is taking a U-turn with his statement who was threatening us with jail earlier.
