New Delhi. The Indian team will play against South Africa in the first match of the two-Test series from Tuesday 26th December. Both teams will present their challenge in the 5-day game. Boxing Day Test details
The first day’s play between India and South Africa will start at 1.30 pm Indian time on Boxing Day i.e. 26th December. The play of the first session will continue till 3.30 pm, after which there will be a lunch break. The game of the second session will last from 4.10 minutes to 6.10 minutes. After the tea period, players of both the teams will again take the field at 6.30 and the game of this last session is likely to be played till 8.30. If rain interferes, this program may be changed.
India did not win the test series in South Africa
In the year 1992, the Indian team played a Test series in South Africa for the first time. From then till 2022, Test series has been played between the two countries in South Africa 8 times. Team India has not won any series here till now. During the 2010-11 tour, India had leveled the 3-match series 1-1.
