The top leadership has appointed both of them in-charge of Bihar. Meanwhile, Mukul Wasnik has been appointed in-charge of Gujarat.
Randeep Surjewala has been given the responsibility of Karnataka. The party has made him in-charge of Karnataka. Along with this, Jairam Ramesh has handed over the responsibility of communication department to Congress. On the other hand, the responsibility of the post of General Secretary will remain on the shoulders of Venugopal as before. Apart from this, the party has given the charge of treasurer to Ajay Maken.
Let us tell you that even before this the responsibility of this post was on his shoulders. The party has appointed 12 general secretaries as well as in-charges of 11 states.
