New Delhi: The impact of Lok Sabha elections is being seen all over the country. All the political parties are busy in their respective rallies. Meanwhile, Congress Party has today released a list of names of candidates in Odisha and West Bengal. In the list released, Congress has announced the names of candidates for three Lok Sabha seats in Odisha as well as one Lok Sabha seat in West Bengal. Along with this, Congress has also released a list for the assembly elections being held in Odisha. In the list of candidates released for the assembly elections, Congress has announced the names of candidates for 16 assembly seats of Odisha.
List of candidates for Lok Sabha elections
Talking about the first list released by Congress, there are names of four candidates in it. In this, the names of three candidates have been declared for Odisha while the name of one candidate has been declared for the Lok Sabha seat of West Bengal. Congress party has fielded Dulal Chandra Pradhan from Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat of Odisha, Binod Bihari Nayak from Keonjhar (Scheduled Tribe) Lok Sabha seat (replacing Mohan Hembram) and Devkant Sharma from Aska Lok Sabha seat. Along with this, Congress has given ticket to Urvashi Bhattacharya from Kanthi Lok Sabha seat of West Bengal.
List of candidates for assembly elections
At the same time, Congress has also released a list of candidates for the assembly elections to be held in Odisha. In this, names of 16 candidates have been announced. In the list released, Amita Biswal from Jharsuguda, Shirod Chandra Patra from Badsahi (Scheduled Caste), Vibhu Bhushan Raut from Sukinda, Sarat Kumar Pradhan from Kantamal have been given tickets in place of Manoj Kumar Acharya. Similarly, Shipra Malik from Kendrapara (SC) assembly seat, Ashok Pratihari from Rajanagar, Loknath Moharathi from Mahakalpara, Siddharth Routray from Nimapada, Gyan Ranjan Pathak from Pipli, Krishna Sagaria from Jayadev (SC) (in place of Jayant Kumar Bhui), Khurda from Sonali Sahu, Pradeep Kumar Swain from Chilika, Manoj Kumar Pradhan from Khandapara, Nakul Nayak from Daspala (SC), Sanjay Kumar Mandal from Kabirsuryanagar (replacing Bipin Bihari Swain) and Shyam Sundergarh Sahu from Gopalpur have been given tickets.
