According to the information, in view of the second wave of the corona epidemic and the increasing number of cases of the delta variant, the Canadian government has extended the restrictions imposed for the first time on April 22 for the fifth time to September 21. Officials said restrictions on public health advice were being extended. In addition, the Government of Canada stated that it is mandatory for passengers traveling indirectly from India to Canada to have a negative RT-PCR test report of COVID before departure from the third country. However, the government also said that it will open its borders to fully vaccinated tourists from September 7 if the situation improves by September.
Talking about the infection, there was a sharp decline in the cases of corona in the country on Monday. In the last 24 hours, 27,421 new patients were identified and 41,457 were cured. Meanwhile, 376 patients have lost their lives due to the pandemic. In this way, the number of active cases i.e. patients under treatment has come down by 14,402. Now 3.82 lakh patients are being treated. This figure is the lowest level since March 23. Then there were 3.65 lakh active cases. A total of 41,18,46,401 people have been vaccinated in India so far. Let us tell you, last Sunday, 35 thousand 499 new cases of corona virus were reported in the country. While 447 people died. Now the number of active cases in the country is four lakh two thousand 188. The recovery rate of the country has now increased to 97.40 percent.
