Pipariya, (Madhya Pradesh). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday targeted a constituent party of the opposition alliance ‘India’ for giving a statement in favor of nuclear disarmament and said that the country cannot be protected without nuclear weapons. While addressing a public meeting in Pipariya town of Hoshangabad Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claim of eradicating poverty in one stroke and said that the country does not take Rahul seriously. He also said that Congress always insulted Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar but the BJP government has respected him.
Without naming any party, Prime Minister Modi, while referring to the CPI(M) manifesto, said that a constituent party of the opposition alliance ‘India’ has called for nuclear disarmament. Modi asked the people whether the country needs nuclear weapons in today’s times or not, especially when its enemies have so much power. He said that ‘Many dangerous promises have been made in the manifesto of the opposition alliance partners. In the manifesto of one of his associates it has been said that he will denuclearize the country. Prime Minister Modi said that ‘we should have nuclear weapons to protect our country. Those who are saying that there should not be nuclear weapons, then how will they protect India?
‘The country does not take Rahul seriously’
Without taking the name of Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi also targeted the Congress leader’s claim that he would eradicate poverty in one stroke. He said that the ‘Prince’ of Congress has made such an announcement that people will laugh. Prime Minister Modi said that the country does not take him (Rahul) seriously. He said that ‘his grandmother (former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi) had also once given the slogan of ‘Garibi Hatao’ and people know about it.’ On the birth anniversary of the chief architect of the Constitution of India, Prime Minister Modi said that ‘Congress has always insulted Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar while we have respected him.’

‘Draupadi Murmu became President because of the Constitution’
Referring to the election of Draupadi Murmu to the country’s top constitutional post, he said that a tribal woman became the President of India because of the Constitution given by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Prime Minister Modi said that ‘today is a big day in history because today is the birth anniversary of Ambedkar ji. It is because of Baba Saheb’s Constitution that the daughter of a tribal family has become the President of the country and the son of a poor woman is asking for your votes for the third time for your service.
