Gujarat will win, Cyclone will lose
Now when the Biparjoy cyclone will make landfall after a few hours, NDRF DG Atul Karwal has expressed hope that the cyclone will not cause much damage. He said that the way the Gujarat government has made preparations to fight this storm. It can be said that the loss of life will be very less. We are in a position to minimize it. Karwal said that the fishing boat has been anchored. So on the other hand big ships have already been sent to such areas of the sea where there is no effect of cyclone.
No flying object hazard
Karwal said that even before the arrival of Biparjoy, the state government has removed more than 4000 hoardings. There is a danger of them becoming flying objects in a storm. Now even this is not the case. Karwal said that the Gujarat government has removed people from the affected areas very well. He said that pregnant women have been pre-identified and kept safely in the hospital for delivery. So we can say that with Biperjoy we are in a position to minimize the loss.
