New Delhi. Once again a special communicable disease campaign has been started across the state from July 1. The Yogi government is gearing up to fight communicable diseases and work is being done expeditiously at the ground level according to the micro plan prepared by the departments. The Dastak campaign will run from July 16 to 31. Fogging will be done in the identified areas on the basis of the survey conducted by the house to house teams during the high risk areas and the Dastak campaign. Through the campaign, awareness, treatment and up-gradation of facilities as well as staff deployment are being accelerated by running a campaign.
These special medical teams will go door-to-door to identify patients suffering from infectious diseases. Asha workers as well as health workers will be included in this team. With the help of the team, the patients will be identified and given medicine and if necessary they will be admitted to the hospital. If such patients are found during the survey, then they will be examined. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to collect information about malnourished children in the campaign. Under the Dastak Abhiyan, patients with symptoms of TB will be found and examined. Giving instructions to the officers in the meeting, the CM said that patients should not face any kind of problem in all the districts of the state. Please ensure this to the medical department.
Asha workers will do door-to-door health survey
This campaign will be started for effective control of diseases like Malaria, Dengue, Viral fever and search for Divyang, Malnourished children. Under the campaign, ASHA workers will conduct door-to-door health surveys. Will look for patients with symptoms like cough and cold as well as patients of infectious diseases like malaria, dengue. If such patients are found during the survey, then they will be examined. Apart from this, instructions have been given to collect information about malnourished children in the campaign. Under the Dastak Abhiyan, patients with symptoms of TB will be found and examined.
