Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two wheeler manufacturer (by sales), today gifted 215 Pleasure scooters to the Delhi Police department on the occasion of International Women’s Day. These scooters with an engine capacity of 110cc have been specially customized by the company for the use of policemen. Essential features have been included in it, which make it different from the regular model available in the market.
These scooters have been developed under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform, Hero We Care. In which sirens, traffic lights and public announcement (PA) systems and other accessories necessary for the police have been given. The Pleasure scooters will be used by police officers for active patrolling in the city and ensuring the safety of women in Delhi.

Hero MotoCorp’s Head of Corporate Communications Bharatendu Kabi handed over the scooters to Delhi Police Department officials in the presence of Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, senior police officers. During this, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana said, “Delhi Police and Hero MotoCorp have a long standing relationship and these scooters are a sign of the company’s deep appreciation for the hard work put in by the police officers. Primarily, these scooters will be used by our women officers on the field to ensure the highest safety for women in the city.”
How is the new Hero Pleasure Scooter:
In this scooter, the company has used a 110cc engine that generates 8PS of power and 8.7Nm of torque. It has bottom link suspension at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. 130mm drum brakes have been given in both the wheels, this scooter is very popular among women in the market. Its price ranges from Rs 62,220 to Rs 71,420.
