New Delhi. India Meteorological Department said that the maximum temperature recorded in Delhi on Monday was 37.6 degrees Celsius, which is the normal temperature for this time of the year. The department said that the relative humidity was between 27 percent to 54 percent. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted clear sky and strong wind during the day on Tuesday.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum and minimum temperatures in the capital on Tuesday are expected to be around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively. India Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of heat wave in the national capital for the next seven days.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the maximum temperature in the national capital will reach 40 degrees Celsius in the next two days. Kuldeep Srivastava, scientist and head of the Regional Meteorological Center in Delhi, told PTI, ‘There is no possibility of heat wave in the coming days, but the temperature in Delhi will reach 40 degrees Celsius in the next three to four days.’
Srivastava said that the new Western Disturbance (WD) will reach close to northwest India but it will not have any impact on the capital. Therefore, the sky will remain clear in Delhi in the coming week and there is no forecast of rain.
According to IMD data, the highest maximum temperature in 2023 was recorded at 40.6 degrees Celsius on April 14, while in 2022 it was 43.5 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature reached 42.2 degrees Celsius in 2021 and 40.1 degrees Celsius in 2020. According to the data, the highest temperature recorded so far this summer season is 39.4 degrees Celsius, which was recorded on April 20.
