New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and a minister in the Kejriwal government, Rajendra Pal Gautam, has been summoned by the Delhi Police for questioning today. The minister is accused of making a statement insulting the deities. However, Rajendra Pal claims that he has not received any notice from the police. He said that some Delhi Police officers had come home on Monday evening to inquire about the dispute. I informed them. I will cooperate with the police. Actually, on October 5, a program was held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Delhi. Rajendra Pal Gautam was also there. Ten thousand people also participated in the program. This is where the controversy arose. Watch the video of that event…

At the event, people had allegedly taken an oath not to worship the deities. It is alleged that the deities were condemned here. Its video went viral on social media. After which a complaint was made to Delhi Police. The BJP had raised the issue vigorously. After which Gautam had apologized and said that he is a religious person. He also said that everyone respects the gods and goddesses and did not say anything against any religion. After this, Rajendra had also resigned from the Kejriwal cabinet on 9 October.
Rajendra Pal Gautam had written in his resignation that the Kejriwal government is being unnecessarily surrounded by his participation in a program. They don’t want Arvind Kejriwal or Aam Aadmi Party to be slandered or come under any kind of heat. That’s why he is leaving the ministerial seat. Rajendra Pal Gautam is the MLA from Seemapuri. He held the Social Welfare, Scheduled Castes and Tribes departments. Now calling Rajendra Pal Gautam for questioning may add to his troubles.
